HAVE, Inc. employees complete E-Learning Pilot Project
(Hudson, NY) Six employees of HAVE, Inc. in Hudson recently completed online E-Learning courses offered through the Columbia-Greene Workforce Investment Board and administered by the New York State Labor Department. E-Learning is a pilot training program designed to enhance workers’ skills and foster critical thinking. It consists of an enticing variety of professional development courses available online, with access from home or office.
HAVE employees took advantage of this professional empowerment opportunity by studying and completing courses in communication, time management, problem solving, motivation, performance evaluations, management, business law, and computers. They are: Bonita Johnson, Sharon McCredie, Alison Oles, & Tony Race.

At the conclusion of the pilot project, the Department of Labor and the State Workforce Investment Board will conduct a survey to evaluate if the program should continue and be expanded throughout the state. HAVE, Inc. graduates found the E-Learning course program very useful and rewarding, and hope more will be made available to HAVE and other businesses in the future.
